Annual Dues for 2024

Dues:  It’s time to pay your annual K of C dues and voluntary assessments.  Dues are due by December 31^st ,2023.  Membership cards will be mailed when payment is received.  Please ask for a waiver if you’re unable to pay.

Member Information Sheet:  It’s included in this mailing.  Please look it over and update it as necessary and return it to me with your dues/assessments if you have made any changes.

Your dues/assessments help enable our organization to support projects locally, nationally, and in many parts of the world. Paying your dues should give you the satisfaction that you are contributing to many worthwhile humanitarian causes.

About your Invoice:

There are four items listed this year:

1. Dues: $35.00, $10, or $0:

$35.00 – Base amount – see below for discounts based on age & years of continuous service.
$10.00 – Life Member = 25 years of consecutive membership & 65-69 years of age.
$ 0.00 – Honorary Life Member = 25 years of continuous membership & 70+ years of age.
$ 0.00 – Current active-duty military or college student.

2. Support Our Seminarians (S.O.S): $5.00 – An annual voluntary assessment. Please consider donating to help our seminarians!
3. Ultrasound Initiative – $5.00: A annual voluntary assessment to purchase Ultrasound machines for our state’s clinics to help stop abortions. Our State Council asked all councils to include this category with their annual dues/assessment billing.
4. Gibault Raffle Tickets – $15.00 An annual voluntary assessment to help the Gibault School in Terre Haute. Included in this mailing are 3 sheets of tickets (each sheet has 6 tickets – When you buy 6 tickets you get a $1 discount – 6 tickets for $5). Please return all Gibault Raffle ticket stubs and money with your due’s payment. The money goes to help Gibault’s programs for troubled youth. Please consider donating!

Dues/Assessments

Payable by Friday, December 31, 2023 – Two ways to pay:

1. Pay Online: Go to https://kofc7431.com to pay for dues and the voluntary assessments (S.O.S., Ultrasound Initiative, and Gibault).

Step One – Dues – Choose either the $35 or $10 option depending on which category you are invoiced. If you’re an “Honorary Life”member ($0) just skip this section.

Step Two – S.O.S., Ultrasound Initiative, & Gibault Raffle – Click the buttons to donate in those categories. They will be added to the cart. Then follow the prompts on the screen to finalize your credit card payment.

Make sure any Raffle ticket purchases are returned to me via USPS, dropped off at the church office or placed in the collection basket in an envelope marked K of C, so we can enter them in the drawing.

Meetings

• Business Meeting – 2nd Monday of every month at 7 p.m. in Library.
• Social Meeting – 4th Monday of every month at 7 p.m. in Social Hall.
• Knights Mass is Saturday at 5:30 p.m. before the First Sunday of each month. The Saturday before the First 5th Sunday mass of the year. (13 per year).

Primary Events

• Lent Fish Fry: Ash Wednesday and six Fridays in Lent, 5-6:45 p.m.
• Pro Life Rose Sale: January – Proceeds go to “The Gabriel Project” to support women.
• Tootsie Roll Drive: May, June, July – Proceeds go to “Handicapable Camp” at Camp Riley.
• Old Settlers Picnic Food Tent: July/August, our food tent raises money for donations to sponsored council projects.
• STM Fall Festival: September (Fri-Sat) – Provide volunteers to help run this parish event.
• Pioneer Park Halloween Hike: Provide volunteers and candy to help support this community event.
• Citrus Sale: November: – A portion of the proceeds go to “Churches in Mission”.
• National K of C Youth Events: Host local district level contests for K of C Soccer Challenge and Basketball Free Throw Championships.
